Bryant (7-5, 5-4 in NE-10) will square off with the 20th ranked College of Saint Rose Golden Knights (12-2, 8-1 in NE-10) in a crucial conference match-up saturday afternoon in the Chace Athletic Center. Gametime is set for 3:30pm.

The Bulldogs are coming off of a disappointing 73-52 loss to Merrimack on Wednesday evening. The game came just four days after Bryant went 2-0 in the Comfort Suites Holiday Classic, where they posted impressive victories over Le Moyne College and the University of Bridgeport. It was a record-setting weekend of sorts for the Bulldogs, as Chris Burns sank his 1,000th point and his 200th three-pointer of his career. Dan Hammond also broke the career steals record with a steal in the game against Le Moyne on Friday. The win against Bridgeport was the 100th win as Bryant coach for Max Good, whose Bulldogs come into Saturday's contest a perfect 6-0 on their home floor.

The Golden Knights have shot out of the gate this winter, and will arrive in Smithfield riding a six-game win streak. Their most recent victory came at home over UMass-Lowell, where junior forward Shanty Robinson led all scorers with 16 points and connected on all eight of his foul shot attempts in the win over the Riverhawks. Saint Rose comes into Saturday's contest billed as one of the top defensive teams in the Northeast-10, having held 12 of its 14 opponents to under 70 points.

Bryant will be looking to exact some revenge from last season, when Saint Rose took both conference match-ups. Saint Rose won a tight contest at home, 64-62, and then won easily in Smithfield, 77-52, in late January. The defeat was the worst margin of defeat at home for Bryant on the season.
