SMITHFIELD, RI - Bryant University senior guard Jon Ezeokoli (South Orange, NJ / St. Benedict's) has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Third Team All-Conference team the league announced this evening.
This is the Ezeokoli's second appearance on the Northeast-10 All-Conference team and his second third team honor. This season, Ezeokoli has started all 28 games for the Bulldogs and is currently leading the team in scoring on the season with 14.3 points per game.
He has scored in double figures in 23 of 28 games including a season-best 26 against Franklin Pierce. On December 1, Ezeokoli scored his 1,000th career point in a win over UMass Lowell.
He is currently 15th all-time in scoring at Bryant with 1,319 career points and fourth with 168 career three-point field goals.
Bryant (17-12) is awaiting a possible NCAA Division II Championship berth which will be announced Sunday at 10:30 p.m. EST by the NCAA.
Bryant has qualified for four consecutive NCAA tournaments and
have reached the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in three of the last four
tournaments including a memorable run to the NCAA finals in 2005
during Ezeokoli's freshman season.
