A long-range three-point shot by Birrell capped a 9-2 Bryant run midway through the second half to bring the game back to within eight points with just over 11 minutes remaining but once again the Knights responded with seven consecutive points to jump back out by 15. The two teams traded baskets over the last 10 minutes as FDU went on to win by 16.
