SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Bryant University junior Joe O'Shea (Burlington, Vt.) has been named to the 2012-13 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court.

The NABC Honors Court recognizes collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled academically during the 2012-13 season, awarding players for their offcourt prowess and hard work in the classroom. To earn this recognition, players must meet a high standard of academic criteria, including maintaining a 3.2 cumulative GPA.

O'Shea, a history major, appeared in all 31 games for the Bulldogs in 2012-13, shooting 44.1 percent (78-177) from the floor and 30.6 percent (26-85) from long range. He averaged 8.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per game for the Black and Gold.
