BRYANT MEN?S GOLF WINS SEASON OPENER

Bulldogs Capture Two-Day Tournament Title at St. Thomas Aquinas

KIAMESHA LAKE, N.Y. ? The Bryant University men?s golf team took first place at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Invitational at Concord Country Club over the weekend. The Bulldogs finished the two-day tournament with a total score of 614, just edging host Saint Thomas Aquinas which placed second with 618.

Dan Falcucci (Northboro, Mass.) and Brenden Smith (North Attleboro, Mass.) led the way for the Bulldogs. Dan Falcucci shot a two-day score of 146 to earn medalist honors for the tournament. He fired an opening round 69 and followed with a 77. Smith was next for the Bulldogs at 153 while Dave Falcucci (Northboro, Mass.) finished with a score of 157, just ahead of teammate Jim O?Connell (Troy, N.Y.).

Bryant, the defending Northeast-10 Conference Champions from last fall, will return to action this weekend at the Dowling Invitational.
