Men's Golf Places Tied for Second at New England Championships

BREWSTER, Mass. - The Bryant men's golf team finished tied for second overall in the team standings at the New England Golf Championships at the Starboard/Port Captain's Course in Brewster, Mass.
The Bulldogs, with a score of 610, tied the University of Rhode Island in the two-day tournament. The University of Connecticut was the overall winner with a two-day total of 606. Quinnipiac was fourth, followed by Dartmouth (5th), Brown (6th), Central Connecticut and Hartford (tied for 7th) and Boston College (9th).
Dave Falcucci finished tied for fourth in the individual standings with a 75-73 for a two-day score of 148 while his brother and fellow senior Dan Falcucci was tied for sixth with a 150. Brenden Smith finished tied for 24th with a 156. Smith was among the leaders with an opening round 72 but shot an 84 on a cold and wet afternoon on the Cape. Jim O'Connell was tied for 34th.
