Men's Golf Stretches Lead To 10 Strokes Heading Into
Final Round of Regional
JACKSON, N.J. -- Three-time defending Northeast Region champion
Bryant University increased its lead at the NCAA Regional's on
Tuesday with a score of 299. The Bulldogs lead St. Thomas
Aquinas by 10 strokes heading into the final day of the NCAA
Regional Championship. The winner will advance to the NCAA
Finals at Savannah, Georgia.
Dan Falcucci rebounded from a score of 82 on the first day by carding a 71 while Jim O'Connell remains red-hot with a 74 Tuesday after opening with a 73 Monday.
Bryant has won three-straight NCAA Regional titles as senior's Dan and David Falcucci are seeking their fourth in four seasons. The Bulldogs captured their 19th Northeast-10 Conference Championship last fall.
