Philipp Leads Bulldogs To 13th-Place Finish at Lonnie Barton

PINECREST, South Carolina -  Mike Philipp carded a round of 75 on the final day of action to help lead the Bryant University men's golf team to a 13th-place finish at the second-annual Lonnie Barton Invitational at Pinecrest Golf Club. 

Philipp, a sophomore from Bristol, Conn., opened with an 82 on the first day and finished with a total of 157 to finished tied for 13th individually.  Senior Jim O'Connell of Troy, NY, placed tied for 36th after shooting an 83 on each day to finish at 166.  Jeremy Hall (171) was tied for 55th while Brenden Smith (178) and J. Pat O'Neil (182) were 73rd and 77th respectively.
