Men's Golf Finishes in Tied For Second Place at 2007 NCAA Super Regional
WHEELING, WV. --- The Bryant University men's golf team finished tied for second after completion of the 2007 NCAA Division II Super Regional Championship as Le Moyne rallied for third place to overtake the Bulldogs on the final day of competition. Bryant led after the first two rounds of the three-day tournament, but Le Moyne shot a team total 310 on Wednesday to win by two strokes 949 to 951.

Jason Thresher won the individual championship as well, defeating Pace's Dan Psinakis in a four-hole playoff. Thresher shot a 151, +7 overall to capture the championship. Teammate Scott Congdon finshed seventh overall, while Dan Peck was tied for eighth. The Bulldogs tee off in the Northeast Invite this weekend.

NEW HAVEN, CT. - The Bryant golf team spent the Easter weekend in New Haven, CT placing 12th at the Yale Men's Spring Open. Nick Caccia led the way for the Bulldogs, placing 33rd with a score of 156 (+16), while Dan Peck finished two strokes behind Caccia, with a 158 (+18). The Bulldogs will return to the links May 7th at the NCAA Regionals in Wheeling, WV.

Dave French '89 Elected to Northeast-10 Conference's 2007 Hall of Fame Class
South Easton, Mass.- Dave French '89 was elected to the Northeast-10 Conference's 2007 Hall of Fame class today. French enjoyed a stellar career for coach Archie Boulet (pictured left) from 1985-89. French was elected to the Bryant University Hall of Fame in 2002. A look at the history of the men's golf program at Bryant University reveals a legacy of success that has spanned five decades. And during his four-year run from 1985-89, Dave French led the Bulldogs through the zenith of the program's accomplishments.
