THEILLS, NY - The Bryant University Men's Golf Team placed 2nd overall this past weekend at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Invite. The men's team shot an over all 43 over par. Saint Thomas Aquinas won the invite, beating Bryant by two strokes.
Scott Congdon Led the way for Bryant by tieing for 5th place overall with a two day total of 152. He shot a first round 77 and a second round 75 for an 8 over par finish. Dan McCarthy of LeMoyne won the individual tournament by shooting a 147 for the two round invite which was equal to 3 over par for the course.
Other Bryant Scores were Brenden Smith who finished tied for 10th with an 11 over par finish, Mike Phillip and Jason Thresher tied for 13th with a 12 over par performance and Ian Nicoll finished tied for 38th with a 27 over par finish.
