Bryant Men's Golf Places Second at ECAC

SYRACUSE, NY - The Bryant University men's golf team placed second overall out of 23 teams competing at the 2007 ECAC Division II Championships at Drumlins Country Club which concluded Monday. The Bulldogs finished with 588 total team points, just shy of overall winner Le Moyne which won the tournament at 585.
The Bulldogs were led by Jason Thresher (West Suffield, Conn.) who shot a two-day total of 145 to finish tied for fifth. Scott Congdon (Foxboro, Mass.) opened with an 80 on the first day but closed strong with a 67 Monday to finish at 147 along with teammate Nick Caccia (Riverside, RI).
The Bulldogs will compete at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships next week in Lowell, Mass. with first round action set to begin Oct. 1.
