Thresher Finishes Tied For First To Lead Men's Golf at Yale

BRYANT GOLFER JASON THRESHER CO-MEDALIST AT YALE SPRING OPENER

Jason Thresher earned co-medalist honors at Yale Sunday.

NEW HAVEN, CT - Bryant University sophomore Jason Thresher (West Suffield, CT) earned co-medalist honors with a brilliant two rounds at the Yale Spring Opener over the weekend in New Haven.  Thresher finished tied for first with a 2-over par 72 on Saturday and 1-over par round of 71 Sunday as the Bulldogs placed 11th out of 21 teams competing. 

Harvard was the over winner with a two-day round of 585.  Bryant has traditionally always played well at Yale. 

This year came through with another solid showing as the Bulldogs, with a two-day score of 599, finished ahead of several Division I schools including Rutgers, Iona, Colgate, Dartmouth, Quinnipiac and Providence.
