Three Named Preseason All-American By Inside Lacrosse

SMITHFIELD, RI - Three Bryant University men's lacrossse players have been named preseason All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook for 2006.  Seniors Steve Coppinger (Bethesda, Md.), Adam Smith (Bainbridge Island, WA), and Tim Duffany (East Falmouth, MA) were all honored in this year's preview edition.

Coppinger, who did not play in 2005 due to an injury, returns to the Bryant lineup looking to add a scoring touch in front of the net.  The senior midfielder was named First Team All-America after tallying 35 goals and 19 assists in 2004.

Smith and Duffany each earned honorable mention recognition by Inside Lacrosse for 2006.  Smith was second on the team last year with 27 goals and 47 points.  He had a pair of game-winning goals and recorded 26 ground balls.

Duffany returns as the team leader on defense for the Bulldogs.  The senior started in 14 games for the Bulldogs last year.
