MEN'S LACROSSE ROLLS PAST SAINT LEO'S, 18-4
Bulldogs Host Defending Champ NYIT Saturday
SAINT LEO, Fla. – An overmatched Lions’ squad, playing its seventh game in the last two weeks, fell to nationally ranked Bryant University(R.I.) 18-4 in Lacrosse Wednesday afternoon at University Field. Saint Leo University falls to 2-6 on the season while Bryant moves to 2-0 with the victory.
Saint Leo led 1-0 early on a goal from Benjamin Brigham of Scituate, MA one minute into the match. However, the early momentum was unable to carry over to the rest of the game as the Bulldogs of Bryant University responded with eleven unanswered goals. Brigham scored the second Lions’ goal of the game with five seconds remaining in the first half.
