Men's Lacrosse Defeats Pace 12-8 Saturday

PLEASANTVILLE, NY - Bryant University freshmen Matt McKeefrey and Bryan Kauffman combined for eight goals as the Bulldog men's lacrosse team picked up a 12-8 Northeast-10 Conference
win at Pace University on Saturday afternoon.  

The Bulldogs trailed 3-1 after the first quarter but scored five times in the secnd to take a 6-5 lead into the locker room at the half.  Craig Buckhout scored the only goal of the third quarter for both teams while a goal by McKeefrey and two by Kauffman to open the fourth put the game away for the Bulldogs.

Freshman Kevin Hoagland had a pair of goals while Zach Rosenow got into the scoring column with a goal of his own in the fourth. Craig Buckout added three assists. 

Bryant, 4-1 overall, will host AIC on Wednesday at 3:30 pm.
