Le Moyne and NYIT Highlight 2007 Men's Lacrosse Schedule
MEN'S LACROSSE ANNOUNCES 2007 SCHEDULE
SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Under first-year Head Coach Mike Pressler, the Bryant University Men's Lacrosse team released its 2007 schedule, with matches against many national powers.
During spring break, the team will depart for Washington D.C., where they will play St. Andrews at Georgetown University and practice for four days (March 12-16) at the home of Division I powerhouse University of Virginia. The Bulldogs will cap of their trip on March 17th when they will challenge 2005 National Champion New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).
The Bulldogs will host the defending Division II National Champions, Le Moyne College on Saturday March 24th at Bulldog Stadium.
Also, Pressler's squad will travel to Johns Hopkins University to face-off against Limestone, the 2005 runner-up and winners of the Deep South Conference six of the last seven years.
Last season, the Bulldogs finished 11-5 (8-2 NE-10) and lost to Merrimack in the NE-10 Semifinals. Bryant will visit the Warriors from Merrimack April 7th.
The Bulldogs home opener is February 24th against Adelphi.
