KAUFMANN NAMED NE-10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Bryant University men's lacrosse sophomore Bryan Kaufmann (Putnam Valley, NY) was named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week after scoring nine goals and adding two assists in a pair of wins last week for the Bulldogs.  Kaufmann had five goals and two assists in a win over Assumption on Tuesday and added four more tallies in a win over Saint Anselm Saturday.  Kaufmann leads the Bulldogs with 40 points this season and is currently second on the team with 26 goals. 

BULLDOGS REMAIN NO. 4 NATIONALLY
Winners of eight straight, the Bryant University men's lacrosse team stayed at No. 4 in this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association national poll.  The Bulldogs, 8-2 this season, garnered 165 total points.  Mercyhurst remains No. 1  at 9-1 followed by NYIT and Le Moyne at second and third respectively.  Limestone, Bryant's opponent this Sunday, moves up a spot to No. 7 in the poll. Sunday's game will be played at Johns Hopkins University. 

FAN BUS HEADING TO MERRIMACK
Bryant students, faculty and staff wishing to see the Bryant - Merrimack men's lacrosse game on Tuesday night, there will be a fan bus heading to North Andover, Mass.  The bus will leave campus at 5 p.m. and return immediately after the game. Cost is only $5 dollars and all proceeds go to the MAKE-A-WISH Foundation.  For more information, please contact Mark Hodgkin at mhodgkin@bryant.edu.

NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Bryant's win over Saint Anselm assures Bryant at least a share of the conference regular season title.  With two games left, Bryant can clinch the outright title with a win either at Merrimack on Tuesday or at Southern NH Friday.  Bryant is currently 7-0 in the conference while Saint Michael's is 7-2 while LeMoyne is 6-2 with a game left (vs. Bentley).  Six teams will qualify for the conference tournament with the highest remaining seed throughout the tournament serving as host. The top two teams will receive a bye when quarterfinal play begins May 1.  Semifinals will take place on May 4 with the conference championship scheduled for May 6. 

NCAA TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Four teams will be selected to the 2007 NCAA Division II Championship.  One team from each region (Bryant is in the North Region) with one at-large team from any region will be selected to participate.  Semifinals will take place on either Saturday May 19 or Sunday May 20 at campus locations with the final scheduled for Sunday, May 27 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md.
