MEN'S LACROSSE PICKS UP 9-6 WIN AT PROVIDENCE COLLEGE

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Bryant University men's lacrosse team opened up the spring exhibition season with a 9-6 win at Providence College Saturday afternoon.  The Bulldogs will round out the preseason schedule against Holy Cross next Saturday before opening the 2007 season February 24th at home against Adelphi. 

Brent Stoothoff had a pair of goals while the Bulldogs added goals by Bryant Amitrano, Kevin Hoagland and Bryan Molk also added goals.

Bryant is ranked No. 8 in the NCAA preseason poll by Lacrosse Magazine while Adelphi enters the game ranked No. 7 in the preseason poll.
