HOAGLAND NAMED PLAYER OF WEEK BY NE-10 AND INSIDE LACROSSE

SMITHFIELD, RI - Following his five-goal effort against Le Moyne on Saturday, sophomore Kevin Hoagland has been named Inside Lacrosse Division II Player of the Week on Monday.  In addition, Hoagland earned Player of the Week by the Northeast-10 Conference. 

A native of Glastonbury, Conn, Hoagland scored five goals, the fifth being an overtime game-winning goal in a 10-9 upset victory over #1 Le Moyne College. The victory snapped the Dolphin's incredible 70-game Northeast-10 Conference win streak. 

Le Moyne came into the game riding a 21 game win streak and 63 regular season unbeaten streak. Hoagland also tied the game with 3:07 to play, capping off a three-goal comeback in the final period.

In other Bryant news, the Bulldogs moved up three spots from No. 9 to No. 6 in the latest USILA Division II Lacrosse Rankings.  Dowling moves up to No. 1 as Le Moyne drops down to the second spot in the poll.  Mercyhurst, NYIT, and CW Post round out the top five respectively.
