BRYANT HOSTS LE MOYNE TODAY FOR NORTHEAST-10 CHAMPIONSHIP AT 1 P.M.

The Bulldogs host Le Moyne this afternoon for the 2007 Northeast-10 Conference Tournament Championship.  The Bulldogs, the top-seed of the tournament, comes into today's game ranked No. 6 nationally and first in the North Region. Le Moyne, ranked second nationally, is No. 2 in the latest NCAA Regional Rankings.  This will be the second meeting of the year between the two teams with Bryant winning 10-9 in overtime back on March 24 at the Bryant Turf Complex.  The win snapped Le Moyne's 70-game conference win streak. 

BULLDOGS IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP
Bryant, making its eighth consecutive appearance in the Northeast-10 Conference tournament, will be making its fourth appearance in the NE-10 Championship game and first since 2005.  The Bulldogs are 0-3 in championship games losing all three games to Le Moyne including a 14-3 loss in that 2005 final.  Bryant fell 7-6 to Le Moyne in the final of the 2004 championship game. 

SEMIFINAL RECAP
Sophomores Bryan Kaufmann and Kevin Hoagland each had five goals apiece on Friday to lift the Bulldogs to a 19-11 win over Merrimack in the conference semifinals.  Kaufmann and Hoagland lead the Bulldogs with 41 and 40 goals respectively while Jim Long and Matt McKeefrey each have 16 goals on the season. Twelve of Kaufmann's goals have come in man-advantage situations.

THE DOLPHINS OF LE MOYNE
Le Moyne knocked off St. Michael's 15-5 Friday in the other semifinal game in Syracuse, NY as Brian Cost led the way with five goals and Nick Gatto and Mike MacDonald each had two goals in the win.  Le Moyne will be seeking its seventh-straight conference title. Cost has 26 goals this season.
