Before Bryant: A 2005 graduate of Oyster River High School. James was a four year lacrosse player and played two years of hockey. He was a two-time All-State selection and competed in champ camp.

Personal: James was born on April 9, 1987 and resides in Durham, NH. He is the son of Jim and Anne Long.

As a Freshmen: Appeared in six games, scored twice in a 20-0 win over AIC. Contributed solid minutes in wins over Bentley College and Saint Michael's.
