Defending NE-10 Champions Picked Second in Preseason Poll

Smithfield, RI - Coming off the most successful season in Bulldog history, the Bryant men's lacrosse team has been picked second in the 2008 Northeast-10 Preseason Poll. Defending National Champion Le Moyne was picked to finish first, and took home 10 of 11 first place votes.

Bryant defeated the two-time defending National champion Dolphins last season in Smithfield to snap the team's 63-game regular season winning streak. The Dolphins returned the favor in the NE-10 championship game 5-4 en route to their third National Championship since 2004.
Saint Michael's was picked third, and Merrimack fourth. The Warriors brought in the only first place vote not to go to Le Moyne.
Saint Anselm, Pace, and Southern New Hampshire follow Merrimack. Bentley, Assumption, Franklin Pierce, and AIC round out the preseason poll.
The Bulldogs kick off their season this Saturday at
Bulldog Stadium against Le Moyne at 1pm.
