SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- After nearly two weeks of grueling competition at the FIL World Championships in Manchester, England, Team USA can return to the States will a smile. Because despite suffering a loss in pool play to rival Canada, Team USA - led by Bryant University head lacrosse coach Mike Pressler - found redemption and ultimate glory in Saturday's championship game, beating Canada, 12-10, to walk away with the gold.

SOMERSET, NJ – A total of 65 Bryant University student-athletes have been named to the Northeast Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll, including nine earning Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll distinction. In addition, men’s tennis junior Cristian Balestrieri (Mar Del Plata, Argentina) and women’s tennis senior Chelsea Downing (Cherry Hills Village, Colo.) were recognized as NEC Spring Scholar-Athletes for 2010.

BALTIMORE -- US Lacrosse announced Monday the final roster for the 2010 U.S. men's national team. The training team roster of 41 was narrowed down to the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL)-mandated size of 23 players after three fall exhibition weekends in West Point, N.Y., Annapolis, Md. and Stony Brook, N.Y. All 23 players, selected by the coaching staff, will compete in the FIL World Championship in Manchester, England from July 14-24, 2010.

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University men's lacrosse team will be hosting the second Junior Bulldog Pumpkin Shootout on November 8 and the fourth-annual Pumpkin Shootout on Nov. 15 at the Bryant Turf Complex.
