Bryant Scores Two Early but Falls to Southern New Hampshire 3-2 in 2OT

MANCHESTER, NH ? The Bryant University men?s soccer team jumped to an early 2-0 nothing led but lost to Southern New Hampshire 3-2 in two overtimes in a game played yesterday in Manchester.
The Bulldogs gained the early led by scoring a goal late in the first half and early in the second half. The first half goal was put in off the foot of senior Jon Feinman (Amherst, Mass.) who got a led pass from freshman Mike Gargiulo (North Branford, Conn.) on the left flank and blasted it past the Southern New Hampshire goalie.
Bryant (3-3-0) netted their second goal only 18 seconds into the second half when senior Clint Stonacek (Omaha, Neb.) took a pass from senior Joe Vouris (Islip, NY) and made the goal from 15 yards out.
SNHU cut the lead in half in the 60th minute when junior Arinze Ezirike lofted shot over sophomore goalie Alex Bissias (Harpswell, ME) from 20 yards out following a quick restart by SNHU. Ezirike tied the game with 4:27 left in regulation when he headed home a free kick by McGuire.
SNHU ended the game when John Ayling scored at 102:37 to give the Penman the win 3-2.
The Bulldogs next game will be Saturday as part of Homecoming Weekend when Bryant will host Saint Michael?s College. The game is set to start at 10:00AM start at Sutton Field.
