Bryant Drops Second Game on West Coast

LOS ANGLES CA ? The Bryant University Men?s Soccer loss the second half of their West Coast road trip yesterday when they lost to Cal St. L.A. 5-3.
The match started with Cal St. scoring the first two goals quickly. Their first goal came at 18:05 when Morten Marthinsen scored off an assist from Eddie Villa. Marthinsen then scored again this time off an assist from Jamie Beltran.
The Bulldogs (0-2) responded when senior Joe Vouris (Islip, NY) scored at 22:58 off and assist from fellow senior Jon Feinman (Amherst, Mass.). Cal St. would add two more Marthinsen goals one at 23:25 and another at 41:43.
Bryant then connected on back-to-back goals. The first came off the foot of sophomore Bryan Gravel (Londonderry, NH) who got an assist from senior Clint Stonacek (Omaha, NE). The next Bulldog came at 68:04 when Stonacek scored off an assist from Gravel.
Cal St. would add another late goal to round the scoring, 5-3.
The Bulldogs will return action Saturday September 4 when they open Northeast-10 Conference play at Saint Rose, game time is set for 1:00pm.
