Men's Soccer Ties Saint Anselm 1-1 Saturday

MANCHESTER, NH ? The Bryant University men?s soccer team battled to a 1-1 tie today with Northeast-10 Conference foe Saint Anselm in game played in Manchester, NH.
The Bulldogs got on the board early into the contest when senior Clint Stonacek (Omaha, Neb.) scored 52 seconds into the game off of a penalty kick. Bryant's defense played well for the remainder of the half as the Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead into the locker room at the half.
Saint Anselm got the equalizer in the second half when Michael Bouton scored at 47:17 off an assist from Jesse Milling.
Sophomore Alex Bissias (Harpsewell, ME) played well in goal for the Bulldogs making four saves including one coming on a penalty shot in the first overtime. For Saint Anselm Tom Gall made five saves for the Hawks.
Bryant will return to action on Tuesday, October 5, hostingBentley at Bulldog Stadium. Game time is set for 3:00 PM.
