Men's Soccer Drops 1-0 Decision to Le Moyne

SMITHFIELD, RI ? The Bryant University men?s soccer gave up a goal with less then a minute to go and lost to Le Moyne College 1-0 today in a game played at Sutton Field.
The only goal of the game came with 32 seconds remaining in regulation when the Dolphins Richard Shaw got a misplayed defensive ball, carried it down the field, and scored past Bulldog goalie Thomas Madden (Saco, ME) for 1-0 win. Madden played well in goal for the Bulldogs, making five saves on the afternoon.
Bryant?s (5-7-2) best chance to score came midway through the second half when sophomore Bryan Gravel (Londonderry, NH) took a well-placed pass and took a hard shot that was stopped by Le Moyne?s Shawn Barker. For the game Barker made three saves for the Dolphins.
Bryant will return to action on Saturday, October 16, when they travel to Franklin Pierce. Game time is set for 1:00PM in Rindge.
