Stonacek Named First Team All-Conference, Monroe Second

SOUTH EASTON, MASS. – Bryant University men’s soccer senior forward Clint Stonacek (Omaha, Neb.) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference First Team in announcement made today. He was joined by fellow senior Matt Monroe (West Boylston, Mass.) who was named to the second team.

Stonacek was named to the team for his outstanding senior season that saw him led the team in scoring with 11 goals, four assists, for a total of 26 points. He was also named Northeast-10 Player of the Week once and to the conference Honor Roll four times.

He will graduate has Bryant’s third leading scorer all-time with 29 goals and 17 assists for a total of 75 points.

Monroe was named to the second for his defensive leadership for Bryant in his senior season. He was an key part in the Bulldogs four shutouts this season by covering the opposing teams leading offensive player and shutting holding them scoreless.

For his career Monroe has played in 70 matches notching two goals and four assists for a total of eight points, while leading the Bulldog defense.
