MEN'S SOCCER PICKS UP 1-0 WIN IN CONFERENCE OPENER SATURDAY
COLCHESTER, VT - Bryan Gravel's penalty kick goal with a little under ten minutes remaining proved to be the game-winner as the Bryant men's soccer team defeated Saint Michael's Saturday in the Northeast-10 Conference opener.
The scoreless tie was broken in the 81st minute when Saint Michael's goalkeeper Tim Williamson took down Gravel inside the goal box resulting in a penalty kick for the Bulldog junior.
Thomas Madden had three saves to earn the shutout win for the Bulldogs. Bryant out-shot the Purple Knights 12-3 in the first half and 18-9 in the contest.
Bryant will travel to Bentley on Wednesday for a 3:30 p.m. game.
