Bulldogs draw a 1-1 tie with 6th ranked Southern Connecticut

October 15, 2005 – NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sixth-ranked Southern Connecticut and Bryant University played to a 1-1 tie in a Northeast-10 Conference men’s soccer game Saturday night at Jess Dow Field.

Southern senior Ilias Calaitzidis (Montreal, Quebec) scored on a penalty kick for the Owls, now 9-2-3 overall and 7-0-3 in the NE-10, in the 41^{st minute.}

^{Senior Michael Anania (Warren, R.I.) scored an unassisted goal for the Bulldogs in the 86th minute.}

^{Senior Dave Faugno (Stamford, Conn.) made four saves for Southern while junior Alex Bissias (Harpswell, Me.) had eight saves for Bryant, now 6-4-4 overall and 5-3-4 in the NE-10.}
