Bryant University draws a tie with Southern New Hampshire

Smithfield, RI - The Bryant University men’s soccer team welcomed Southern New Hampshire to Bulldog stadium on a sunny September 10, Saturday afternoon. The game finished in 0-0 tie after two overtimes.

In a back and forth match between the two Northeast-10 contenders noone could muster a goal. The Bulldogs were able to get off 13 shots while the Penmen took 12 shots.

The Penmen had an 11-7 advantage on corner kicks but could not put one in the back of the net.

Both goalkeepers played tremendous in net with limited. Sophomore Tom Madden (Saco, ME) went the distance for the Bulldogs saving five shots. Sophomore keeper Dan Pelc (Hamilton, Ontario) faced 13 shots and compiled seven saves for the Penmen.
