In the first of three games during their trip to Buenos Aires, the Bryant Men's Soccer team scored five second-half goals, in a 5-1 victory over Nautico Escobar, a Buenos Aires professional club.

The Bulldogs evened the score when senior Patrick Doherty (Easton, Mass) scored off a Kyle Bruton (Guilford, CT) corner kick. Three minutes later, senior Wheeler Smith (Franklin, Mass) buried a volley from 20 yards out with a brilliant strike into the top corner. Sophomore Mike Gargiulo (North Branford, CT) added the insurance goal in the 65th minute, by heading a loose ball past the diving Nautico keeper.  The Bulldogs added two late goals by senior Sam Grande (Herkimer, NY) and junior Matt Amsden (North Providence, RI). Senior Bryan Gravel (Londonderry, NH) and junior Kyle Tierney (Westborough, MA) both earned assists on both the fourth and fifth goals.

Head Coach Seamus Purcell was pleased with the Bulldogs' performance and said they were "very solid defensively."
