SOUTH EASTON, MASS. - Matt Amsden (North Providence, R.I.) was named to the Northeast-10 All- Academic Second Team Tuesday while Diane Pascale (Plymouth, Mass.) was selected for the Third Team.

Amsden has recorded three assists in 14 games this season while double-majoring in accounting and political science. He has a 3.44 gpa.

Pascale is second on the Bulldogs with seven goals and leads the team with five game-winners. She is an accounting major with a 3.33 gpa.

The men's soccer team concludes its regular season with home matches against St. Thomas Aquinas Thursday (3:30 p.m.) at Bulldog Stadium and against American International Saturday (7 p.m.) at the Bulldog Turf Complex.

The women's soccer team hosts Merrimack Friday (7 p.m.) at the Turf Complex in a possible playoff preview.

To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) participated in at least half of the team's competitions and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and 3) completed at least one academic year at his/her current institution.
