Bryant to Start Competing in 2005-2006

SMITHFIELD, RI ? Bryant University will start competing in Men?s and Women?s Swimming starting in the 2005-2006 season. The team will compete on the Division II level within the NCAA and in the Northeast-10 Conference.

As part of the Northeast-10 Conference Bryant will compete against Bentley College, Le Moyne College, Pace University, Saint Michael?s College, Saint Rose College, and Southern Connecticut State University.

The team will compete in the recently built Olympic size swimming pool inside the newly built Chace Wellness Center. The facility is part of Bryant?s newly built athletic complex at the University.

The addition of men?s and women?s swimming will bring the total of varsity sports offered by Bryant to 22.
