FERRIGNOS SIXTH PLACE FINISH HIGHLIGHTS DAY 2 OF ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR BULLDOGS; MEN JUMP TO 14TH, WOMEN 20TH
CAMBRIDGE, MASS. Senior Tom Ferrigno swam a 4:03.11 to finish sixth in the 400 individual medley and help the Bryant mens swim team move up to 14th overall at the ECAC Championships. The women grabbed four more points yesterday, putting them in 20th overall.

MENS SWIMMING IN 15TH, WOMEN 22ND AFTER DAY ONE AT ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
CAMBRIDGE, MASS. A pair of thirteenth place finishes in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays gave the Bryant mens team 16 points in the first day of the ECAC Championships at Harvard University on Friday. The women registered four points with a 15th place finish in the 200 freestyle relay, putting them in 22nd.

SWIM TEAMS FALL TO STONY BROOK AS POOL RECORDS GO DOWN AT THE CHACE CENTER
SMITHFIELD, R.I. The Bryant University mens and womens swim teams both fell to Stony Brook Saturday afternoon at the Chace Center in their final home meet of the season. The Seawolves beat the men by a score of 141-109, while the women were knocked off by a final of 143-97.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University men's and women's swim teams took key wins Saturday afternoon at the Chace Athletic Center, with the men topping Adelphi University, 99-94, and the women splitting on the day with a 158-43 win over Adelphi and a tough 104-94 loss to the University of Bridgeport.

MENS AND WOMENS SWIMMING RECORD FIRST DIVISION I VICTORIES IN TRI-MEET SATURDAY AFTERNOON
FAIRFIELD, CONN.- The Bryant University mens and womens swim teams each defeated Manhattan College in a tri-meet Saturday afternoon that also featured Fairfield University. The men won by a final tally of 166-29 while the women finished with a score of 135-67.

BRYANT SWIMMING SWEPT BY FRIARS SATURDAY AFTERNOON
PROVIDENCE, RI- The Bryant University mens and womens swim teams fell to Providence on Saturday, despite setting 21 school records in 28 total events swum. The men would find themselves on the short end of a 148-112 final score, while the women were knocked-off by a final of 151-111.

MENS AND WOMENS SWIMMING SWEEP FALCONS FOR SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR
SMITHFIELD, RI- The Bryant University mens and womens swim teams took down the Bentley Falcons by scores of 113-92 on the mens side and 106-91 on the womens side. The wins were the first as this season for both teams, as they each improve to 1-3 and earn their first victories as a Division I program.

MENS SWIMMING FINISHES 5TH AT BENTLEY INVITATIONAL ON SUNDAY
WALTHAM, MA- Senior Tom Ferrigno won the 200 yard backstroke, while Steven Nguyen took home the 500 yard freestyle to help the Bulldogs to a 5th place finish at the Bentley Invitational on Sunday in their first meet of the season. The meet featured eight teams, with Southern Connecticut finishing in first place.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. Bryant University mens swimming coach Katie Cameron will welcome eleven freshman standouts to campus when preseason camp opens later this summer. The Bulldogs, who will be competing in their first Division I season this fall, are coming off a tremendous season in 2007.

BRYANT MEN IN FIFTH AFTER DAY 2 OF NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS
BRISTOL, RI -- Junior Tom Ferrigno (West Chester, Pa.) grabbed another first-place finish in Day 2 of the New England Swimming and Diving Champtionships Saturday, leading the Bryant University men's swim team to a fifth-place standing in the three-day competition hosted by Roger Williams University. The Bulldogs set four new Bryant records in Saturday's competition.

Men's Swimming Finishes Fifth at New England Championships
DARTMOUTH, MA - The Bryant University men's swim team finished fifth after the final day of competition at the New England Division II - III Championships. Bentley won the overall team title followed by Keene State, Norwich and Roger Williams. Tom Ferrigno was named the Swimmer of the Meet for his performances throughout the weekend. On Sunday, the junior won the 1650 in a school record and National B cut time.

MEN IN 4TH AFTER DAY 1 OF NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS BEHIND FIRST-PLACE FINISHES FROM FERRIGNO, CIESLEWSKI
BRISTOL, RI -- Backed by a pair of individual event wins from sophomore John Cieslewski (Watertown, Conn.) and junior Tom Ferrigno (West Chester, Pa.), the Bryant University men's swim team sits in fourth place of 14 teams after Friday's Day 1 competition of the New England Swimming and Diving Championships hosted by Roger Williams University.
Ferrigno won the 200-yard backstroke Friday evening, breaking a Bryant school record with a time of 1:55.50, while Cieslewski swam to his own first-place finish in the 50-yard breaststroke in 27.20 -- also setting a new Bulldog record mark.
