Swimming Drops Pair of Decisions at Le Moyne
SYRACUSE- The Bryant swimming teams both fell to the Le Moyne Dolphins in a Northeast-10 match Sunday. The Ladies were led by freshman Jess Looney, who captured three victories including a season best time of 2:13.60 in the 200-yard backstroke. The men were led by a victory each from Ray Savner and James Newton. The Bulldogs won both 400 yard Freestyle Relays. Bryant returns to action Friday, December 1 in the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament

Bulldog Swimming teams sweep Pace; Look towards big weekend road trip
The Bulldog swim teams each captured a victory over Pace University at the Chace Center. A well-rounded women's effort gave them a 129-67 victory and the men, led by James Newton (Rockland, MA) and Ray Savner (Bethlehem, CT ) won 100-80. Four women captured victories for the Bulldogs, including a pair by Sarah Lang (Monroe, CT). Lauren Jette (Old Lyme, CT), Emily Hayes (Marshfield, MA), and Jess Looney (Goffstown, NH) also captured victories for the women. Savner and Newton each tallied a win as the men won their match as well.

Swimming's Looney Named Freshman of the Week for Second Straight Week
SOUTH EASTON, MASS. – Bryant freshman swimmer Jessica Looney was named the Northeast-10 Women Swimmer of the Week for Nov. 6-12. It is the second consecutive week that she has won the award. The Bulldogs' swim team returns to action Wednesday when they welcome Pace to the Chace Athletic Center Pool at 5:30 p.m.

Men's and Women's Swim Teams Compete at UMass Dartmouth Invitational
BRISTOL, RI- The Bryant University men's and women's swim teams competed at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, held Saturday at the Roger Williams University pool. The Bryant men's and women's 400 yard medley relay squad each came away with wins. The Bulldogs host Pace Wednesday at the Chace Athletic Center Pool starting at 5:30 pm.

SOUTH EASTON, MASS. - Jessica Looney and John Cieslewski were named the respective Northeast-10 Men's and Women's Freshmen Swimmers of the Week for Oct. 30 - Nov. 5. The Bulldogs continue action this Saturday at UMass-Dartmouth this Saturday.

Women's Swim Team Picks Up Win Over Clark Saturday Afternoon
SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University women's swim team picked up a 146-116 win over visiting Clark University Saturday afternoon at the Chace Athletic Center pool. The Bryant men fell to Clark, 141-121. The Bulldogs will return to action next Saturday at UMass Dartmouth.

Bulldogs victorious in Double-Dual Meet with Eastern Connecticut State and Husson
The Bryant Women's swimming team defeated Eastern Connecticut State and Hudson in a double dual meet Friday night at the Chace Center. The Bulldogs defeated Eastern Connecticut 77-45 and Husson 67-52. Freshman sensation Jess Looney led the Bulldogs with three wins.

Bulldog Swimming Competes at Bentley Invitational Sunday
WALTHAM, Mass. - The busy weekend continued for the Bryant men's and women's swim teams. After competing at Roger Williams Saturday, the Bulldogs took part in the Bentley College Invitational Sunday at the Dana Center. The men placed fifth with 43 points and women were also fifth with 47 points.

Women's Swim Picks Up Win at Roger Williams Saturday
The Bryant University women's swim team picked up a 129-98 win at Roger Williams on Saturday as Margaret Dickinson captured first in three events to help lead the Bulldogs to the dual meet victory. The men were defeated by Roger Wiliams, 145-80. The teams will compete at the Bentley Invitational Sunday.

The Friars defeat Bulldogs' men's team 102-73, women fall 124-73 Wednesday evening at Taylor Natatorium in Providence. Ray Savner and Jess Looney each won two events to lead the Bulldogs.

Men and Women finish strong at NEISDA Championships
Springfield, MA - The Bryant men and women swimmers finished with a stong showing in their first ever New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships this past weekend. The men finished 10th out of 15 and the women finished 18th out of 22.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Sending a total of 10 competitors to the New England Swimming Championships, the Bryant men are currently 10th and the women 20th after Friday's opening day competion at Western New England College. This is Bryant's first season of competing in the swimming championships.

Bryant To Send Eight Swimmers To New England Championships
SMITHFIELD,RI - You might have a hard time convincing most that this is the first year of varsity swimming at Bryant University. Despite this being the first year that men's swimming has been reinstated since the early 1980's and the first year of women's swimming at the university, the Bulldogs have enjoyed a success year of competition. As a result of the team's hard work, eight individuals will represent Bryant at the New England Division II-III Championships in Springfield Feb. 17-18.

Smithfield, RI - The Bryant University swim team welcomed the Golden Knights of Saint Rose to the Chace Athletic Center Pool on Sunday afternoon. The final score for the men's meet was Saint Rose 115, Bryant 71. The Saint Rose women won 109-44. Bryant will return to the pool on January 28 at Saint Michael's with a meet start time of 1:00 pm.

New Haven, Conn - The Southern Connecticut State University Owls, won thier third straight Northeast-10 Swiming/Diving Conference championship on Saturday, December 10th. The Bryant Bulldogs concluded their two day trip to the conference championship, with a men's team total of 209 points and the women's team earned 202 points on Saturday.

The Owls of Southern Connecticut State University, ranked first in both men's & women's teams. The Bulldogs competed in their NE-10 Conference opener, this Tuesday November, 15 at Pace University. The women of Bryant finished the meet with a final score 86, for Pace 103. The men completed the meet with 75, and Pace with 105.

SMITHFIELD, RI - Katie Cameron, a former coach at Wagner College for eight seasons, has been named men's and women's swimming coach at Bryant University. The announcement was made today by Director of Athletics Dan Gavitt. Bryant will be adding women's swimming as a varsity sport this fall and reinstating its men's program.
