North Dartmouth, Mass- The Bryant University Swim team competed in a non-scoring invitational in the Tripp Athletic Center, located on the campus of the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. Roger Williams University (RI), and Salem State College (MA) also participated in Saturday's Swim meet.
(Pictured) Andrea Geoffroy (Belchertown, Mass.) reached the wall first in the 100 Yard Backstroke with 1:06.89. Geoffroy also took third place in the 50 Yard Freestyle with 27.32, 0.16 seconds later fellow Bulldog Kristen Brekne (Stony Brook, NY) finished fourth with a time of 27.48.
On the men's side, Ray Savner (Bethlehem, Conn.) earned third place in the 50 Yard Freestyle with 23.41.
Both Bulldog 200 Yard Freestyle Relay teams finished with third place honors. The women Christa Berard (Alfred, Maine), Kristen Brekne, Kim Noto (Southington, Conn.), and Andrea Geoffroy finished with 1:55.05. For the men Nate Olszewski (Blanford, Mass.), Ricky Cosse (Cos Cob, Conn.), Tom Desbiens (Hope Valley, R.I.), and Ray Savner finished with 1:41.77
The Bulldogs travel to Pace University on Tuesday, November 15th at 6:15 for thier first Northeast-10 contest.
