The Bryant University Swim team meet fellow Northeast -10's Purple Knights of Saint Michael's College this Saturday, in Colchester, Vermont.
For the women Andrea Geoffroy (Belchertown, MA) took first place in the 50 Yard Backstroke with (30.90), and touched the wall first in the Women's 100 Yard Backstroke finishing with (51.34). Christa Berard (Alfred, ME) earned first place in the Women's 50 Yard Breastroke event, with (38.16). Fellow Bulldog Kristen Brekne (Stony Brook, NY) completed the Women's 50 Yard Butterfly with (30.41) giving her first place. Danielle L'Esperance (Sutton, MA) swam strong in the Women's 100 Yard IM gaining first with (1:10.18)
On the men's side Ray Savner (Bethlehem, CT) placed first in both the 50 Yard Freestyle (23.25), and 100 Yard Freestyle (51.34). Nate Olszewki (Blandford, MA) took first in the 500 Yard Freestyle with (5:37.59). Tom Desbiens (Hope Valley, RI) captured first in the Men's 50 Yard Breastroke with (38.16). Bulldog Billy Ryan (Warwick, RI) took first in the 100 Yard IM with (1:10.18).
The Bulldogs will continue thier inaugural varsity season by visiting Salem State College on Saturday, Februray 4 with 1:00PM for start time.
