Looney Named NE-10 Freshman of the Week for Second Straight Time

SOUTH EASTON, MASS. - Bryant freshman swimmer Jessica Looney (Goffstown, NH.) was named the Northeast-10 Women Swimmer of the Week for Nov. 6-12.

It is the second consecutive week that she has won the award.

Looney captured the 1650-yard freestyle in 18:55.31, the 50-yard breaststroke (35.01), 100-yard freestyle (58.05), 100-yard backstroke (1:04.83) and 100-yard butterfly (27.11) and was a member of the 400-medley relay winning team at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, held Saturday at the Roger Williams University pool.

The Bulldogs swim team returns to action Wednesday when they welcome Pace to the Chace Athletic Center Pool at 5:30 p.m.
