Bryant Bulldogs Tennis to Host Bentley Falcons
Smithfield, RI-Bryant Men's and Women's tennis will host NE-10 rival the Bentley Falcons Wednesday April 16, 2008 at 2pm. Both Bryant Men's and Women's teams are ranked 1st in the conference (11-0 W) (9-0 M). The Bentley men's team comes into this weeks match with a record of six wins and three losses in the conference, while the women's team posts a record of eight wins and a single loss.
Throughout the men's matches fans should keep an eye out for freshman Cristian Balestrieri (Mar Del Plata, Argentina), who is currently 14-4 No. 1 singles for the Bulldogs and standout teammate Jose Rodriguez (Trujillo, Peru), who is 12-3 overall (No. 2 singles).
On the women's side fans should look out for Katharine Francazio (Cranston, RI / La Salle), who improved to 18-1 for the year last week went, as well as senior Michelle Burke (Barrington, RI), who posts an overall record of 15-4 on the season.
