MEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO BLOOMSBURG 5-3 IN NCAA SECOND ROUND
WILLIAMSPORT, PA - The Bryant University men's tennis team fell to host Bloomsburg, 5-3 Friday in the second round of the NCAA Division II Men's East Regional at the West Branch Tennis Club in Williamsport. The Bulldogs conclude the season 21-4 overall.
Bloomsburg took a 2-1 lead coming out of doubles with Dan Gal and Fernando Perez winning at number one doubles, 8-3, while Jeff Nuhfer and Mitch Zenaty won at number three doubles by the same score.
In singles play, Gal posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory at number one, while Nuhfer won at number five and Dan Phillips at number six. For Bryant, Jose Rodriguez and Dylan Whiting posted victories at number two and four singles respectively.
Bloomsburg improves to 16-5 with the win.
