Bryant Men's Tennis Hosts NE-10 Tournament This Weekend; Tourney Starts Thursday When Bulldogs Face Saint Michael's
SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University men's tennis team will host the 2007 Northeast-10 Conference men's tennis championship this weekend at the Bryant Tennis Court Complex. Bryant will open tourney play this afternoon against Saint Michael's. The tournament will continue Saturday with semifinal round play. The championship match is scheduled for Sunday at 11 a.m.

Men's Tennis Cruises to 9-0 Win Over Le Moyne
GREENVILLE, RI – The Bryant men's tennis team won its ninth match of the 2006-07 season Friday night thanks to a solid 9-0 win over Le Moyne College. The Bulldogs opened the match sweeping all three doubles points and didn't drop a single set in singles play. Dylan Whiting and Zach Goodman earned a win at No. 1 doubles with Whiting looking sharp in singles play, defeating Frank Donaldson in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2. The Bulldogs host Stonehill Saturday and travel to Assumption Sunday.

Men's Tennis Drops 5-4 Decision to Stonehill Saturday
SMITHFIELD, RI – Stonehill College sophomore Will Herchel (Hampden, Mass.) pulled out a 7-5 win in the second set at No. 5 singles broke a 4-4 tie and helped lift the visiting Skyhawks to a 5-4 men's tennis win over Bryant University here Saturday afternoon.

SPRINGFIELD, MASS. - The Bryant men's tennis team continued its excellent spring with a 9-0 victory over AIC Tuesday afternoon. The Bulldogs won every match played in straight sets. Bryant (8-5, 6-2 NE-10) hosts Le Moyne Friday (8 p.m) in a match scheduled to be played at Providence College.

SMITHFIELD,RI - The Bryant men's tennis team picked its second win in as many days on Saturday, defeating Southern New Hampshire 6-3 at the Bryant Tennis Courts. The Bulldogs, now 7-5 overall and 6-1 in the NE-10, will travel to AIC on Tuesday.

Men's Tennis Gets Back In Win Column As Bulldogs Defeat Franklin Pierce 9-0
SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University men's tennis team snapped a four-match losing skid Friday afternoon thanks to a 9-0 win over Franklin Pierce in a match that was made up after a rainout last week. After opening the match by winning all three doubles points, the Bulldogs got off to a strong start in singles play thanks to a strong effort from freshman Dylan Whiting (Florence, Mass.). Whiting rolled to a two-set win over Austin Gardella at No. 1 singles play, winning 6-3, 6-0.

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University Department of Athletics has announced the resignation of assistant football coach Mark Klaiman and the naming of Ron Gendron as interim men's tennis coach. The announcement was made today by Director of Athletics Bill Smith.

WALTHAM, Mass. - The Bryant men's tennis team dropped a tough 5-4 Northeast-10 Conference decision at Bentley College Wednesday afternoon. Bryant led 2-1 after doubles and earned wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles but it was not enough as the Bulldogs fall for the first time in conference play this season.

The Bryant men's tennis team dropped a pair of non-conference matches over the weekend at Queens College (NY) and Concordia College (NY). Freshman Matt Shephard-Lupo (left) had a tremendous weekend, winning both singles matches over the weekend. The Bulldogs host Franklin Pierce on Monday.

Men's Tennis Now 3-0 in Conference after 9-0 Victory over Saint Anselm
MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Bryant Men's Tennis team dominated every match, cruising to a 9-0 shutout victory over Saint Anselm in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup Wednesday afternoon. Ben Caisse and Kevin Levinson each won their matches in 8-0 shutouts. The Bulldogs, now 5-2 and 3-0 in the NE-10, visit Concordia Friday (3 p.m.) and Queens Saturday (noon).

WINTER PARK, FLA. - The Bryant Men's Tennis team continued their spring break trip through Florida losing to Rollins College 9-0 in Florida Thursday afternoon. The Bulldogs will open their home portion of the schedule Sunday against Le Moyne. The time and location is to be announced based on the weather in Smithfield.

Men's Tennis Drops 8-1 Decision To Wayne State Tuesday In Florida
ORLANDO, Fla. – The Bryant men’s tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Wayne State (MI) Tuesday afternoon. The Bulldogs dropped the six singles matches but picked up an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles as Kevin Gardiner and Craig Drushella earned an 8-2 decision over Alejandro Gomez and Ryan Buck. The Bulldogs (4-1) will wrap up their two-game trip to the Sunshine State with a match at Rollins College on Thursday.

The Bryan men's tennis team picked up where they left off after an impressive fall with a victory in their first action of the spring semester. The Bulldogs defeated Pace 8-1 in East Hartford, Conn. The Bulldogs swept all three doubles matches and were led by Kevin Gardiner and Craig Druschella.

SMITHFIELD,RI - The Bryant men's tennis team picked up a 6-3 Northeast-10 Conference win over visiting Merrimack College at the Bryant Tennis Complex Sunday afternoon. The match was the first of the fall season for both teams. Bryant led 2-1 after doubles and earned four wins in singles play led by Zach Goodman's straight-set win at No. 3 singles.

SMITHFIELD,RI - The Bryant University men's tennis team placed three on this year's Northeast-10 All-Conference team. The Bulldogs were led by Al Duro's first team all-conference selection at No. 5 singles while Ben Caisse was named second-team all-conference and Zach Goodman earned second team honors.
