BULLDOGS CRUISE TO 8-1 VICTORY OVER PACE IS SPRING DEBUT

The Bryant men's tennis team got off to an impressive start Saturday, opening their spring schedule with a 8-1 victory to run their year-to-date record to 4-0.

 The pairing of Dylan Whiting (Florence, Mass.) and Matthew Shephard-Lupo (West Boothbay Harbor, ME) defeated Diego Palacios and Vishal Moorjani 8-2, while the team of Kevin Gardiner (Powder Springs, GA) and Craig Druschella (Harwich, Mass.) defeated Paul Kosinski and Ross Charbonne 8-1. Zack Goodman and Ben Caisse defeated Andrew Hagen and Garret Boyd 8-2 to complete the doubles sweep.

In singles, Gardiner defeated Kosinski, Druschella defeated Charbonne, Goodman knocked off Moorjani, Caisse handled Jed Pines and Shephard-Lupo beat Hagen. The lone defeat for the team was when Palacios defeated Whiting in the men's #2 match. 

The Bulldogs completed their fall schedule 3-0 with wins over Merrimack, St. Michael's and Division-I Rhode Island. The team returns to action March 13 against Wright State in Orlando, Florida.
