SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Earning all but one of the possible first-place votes, the Bryant University men's tennis team was picked as the team to beat in the Northeast Conference Men's Tennis Coaches poll, released Friday afternoon.

After putting together an undefeated regular-season campaign and earning the number one seed at the NEC Championships a year ago, reigning NEC Coach of the Year Ron Gendron and the Bulldogs are ready for their turn in the spotlight.

Senior captain and NEC Player of the Year candidate Dana Parziale (Pinehurst, N.C.), junior Zachary Morris (Garden City, N.Y.) and reining NEC Rookie of the Year Max Vogt (Fair Oaks, Calif.) all return for the Black and Gold as they look to capture their first ever NEC Title.

The Mercer County Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ will once again serve as the venue for the eight-team single-elimination NEC championship from April 17-19.  The winner will earn the NEC's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament field.

Bryant's next action will come on Saturday when they visit Boston College for a showdown with the Eagles.
