SMITHFIELD, RI – Bryant University senior third baseman Deidre Kittredge (Worcester, Mass.) was named to 2005 NFCA Northeast Regional First Team in announcement made yesterday by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
The award is just another won by Kittredge who was also named Northeast-10 Player of the Year as well as being named to the Northeast-10 Conference First Team. She also helped lead Bryant to their first Northeast-10 Conference Tournament Championship.
Kittredge’s spectacular senior year saw her lead the team in RBIs with 39, doubles with 14, slugging percentage with .633, and on base percentage with .461. She also finished second in batting average at .413.
Kittredge finishes her career breaking five career records at Bryant including most at bats with 491, most hits with 159, most RBIs with 93, most doubles with 45, and most total bases with 231.
