Softball's Trip to Arizona Canceled

SMITHFIELD,RI- The Bryant Softball's trip to the Schutt Sports/Division II/Lead Off Classic has been canceled due to inclement weather in the northeast.

Severe winter weather has covered much of the northern United States and brought national air travel to a halt.

The Bulldogs had been scheduled to play Cal-State Stanislaus and Grand Canyon University on Thursday and Abilene Christian University on Friday before beginning pool play Friday afternoon.

The Bulldogs were picked second in the Northeast-10 by the conference's coaches in the preseason poll. Last season, the Bulldogs captured the NE-10's regular season and conference championships and made their third straight trip to the NCAA Tournament
