BROOKVILLE, NY - After winning three of their first four games in the NCAA Tournament, the Bryant Bulldogs are in position to win the Northeast Region for the first time in program history.

After eliminating Adelphi, the Bulldogs again faced #3 Dowling, who the Bulldogs defeated in the first round of action. A Look at UMass-Lowell
The Riverhawks are the tournament's cinderella team after winning the Northeast-10 Conference tournament last week at Syracuse to qualify for the NCAAs. UMass-Lowell defeated Bryant 8-4 May 1 en route to their conference championship. Lowell then dispatched #1 seed Le Moyne in the opening round, before defeating Georgian Court. The Riverhawks were ousted from the winner's bracket Saturday with a tough 2-0 loss to C.W. Post.
The Riverhawks have been led by pitcher Kristen Mahoney, who had won six straight games before Saturday's loss.
