Bulldogs Move From 9th to 4th in Regional Rankings

The Bryant Bulldogs softball team has moved up four places in this week's NCAA/Division II regional poll from 9th place to 5th after a 3-1 week of play.
The Bulldogs have beaten three of the four teams ranked ahead of them already this season. They defeated #1 Southern Connecticut State on April 3, #3 C.W. Post on April 1, and #4 Adelphi on April 5.
The Bulldogs will welcome the #2 Le Moyne Dolphins to the Bryant Softball Complex this Sunday for the team's 2007 Senior Day.
Bryant is 15-8 on the season and fourth in the NE-10 with an 11-3 record.
The Bulldogs are led this season by center fielder Amanda Wilbur (Lakeville, Mass.) who is hitting .436 with 6 HR and 23 RBI while slugging .808.
The Bulldogs next game is Thursday at UMass-Lowell. The Riverhawks were picked to finish third in this year's NE-10 preseason coaches' poll behind Le Moyne and Bryant. UMass-Lowell is currently 9th in the region with a 15-13 (12-7 in the NE-10) record.
