Breton, Dobmeier, and Thomas Among Week's Top Performers in NE-10

Three Bulldogs were named to this week's Northeast-10 Conference
Honor Roll. Sophomore Kim Breton (Leominster,
Mass.), junior Anne Dobmeier (Buffalo,
NY), and junior Kate Thomas (Bedford, NH)
received the honor for their performance during Bryant's six-game
spring break trip to Florida. The Bulldogs were 2-4 on the trip
against national powers Florida Southern and Tampa, as well as
Hillsdale College of Michigan.
Breton served as the catalyst for the Bryant offense, collecting
eight hits from the leadoff spot. The centerfielder was on base at
a .417 clip and scored five runs on the week.
Dobmeier collected five hits for a .417 batting average and walked
six times for an on-base percentage of .588. The first baseman
knocked in four runs and slugged .500 on the week.
Thomas knocked three extra base hits and slugged .667, including a
grand slam in the win over Hillsdale.
AIC's Kellie Brown won the Conference's Player of the Week. Brown Batted .500 (9-18) with 10 RBI, eight runs scored, four doubles, one triple and two home runs. Her teammate Sara Swepston was the pitcher of the week.

a doubleheader against conference rival Franklin Pierce.
