Bryant Draws Stonehill in First Round of NE-10 Tournament; Directions to field below

Smithfield, RI - After a wild final week of the NE-10 season, the Bulldogs finally received their draw in the 2008 NE-10 Tournament. The Bulldogs will be the #2 seed after matching the school's best conference record of 23-5. The Bulldogs will face the Stonehill Skyhawks in the first round, and will face the winner of Saint Anselm and Southern Connecticut if they advance.

Because of late-season weather delays, the tournament was moved back a day and the format was altered. Teams will now play in a single-elimination mini-bracket on Saturday before the two survivors will play a best of three series Sunday. 

The Bulldogs side of the bracket includes #7 Stonehilll, #6 Saint Anselm, and #3 Southern Connecticut. The other bracket includes #1 Le Moyne, #4 UMass-Lowell, #5 Pace, and #8 St. Rose. The Bulldogs were 5-1 against their side of the bracket with the only loss coming to Saint Anselm in 11 innings.

 DIRECTIONS TO FIELD:

From Doubletree Hotel:

To Le Moyne: Right out of lot to cirlcle; go 3/4 way around circle to Rt. 635 (3 miles) to Springfield Rd. Turn Right. Take 2nd left into Niland Athletic Complex

To Hopkins Road Field (Site of Saturday Games): Right out of lot, stay in right lane to Rt. 90 (NYS Thruway). Take Rt. 90 West to Exit 36, after toll stay to right to RT 81 South. STAY IN LANE, EXIT  immediately at 7th North St. Exit; Turn Right on to 7th N. St.,' Take Right at first light (Buckley Rd.) Stay on Buckley 1 1/2 miles. Turn left onto Hopkins Rd. Park Entrance on Right 1 Mile.
